Pratt Landry Family Trust Building, 2011
3303 Tulane Avenue

The Pratt Landry Family Trust Building (c.1940-1970) was originally three separate buildings that were badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Instead of tearing down the existing structures, Waring Architects was able to develop the separate structures into a single cohesive building for flexible, mixed-use commercial occupancy of 16,000 square-feet. This building uses a revolutionary hurricane window called the WISP Window that integrates Hurricane Protection into the jamb of the window while also providing daylight screening.
